Functional as advertised.
easy to install. recommended to visit manufacturer website to determine which model to select for your light or which light to purchase with which model if one doesn't have the light already. appears durable. watching related web videos is adequate to learn to use. if tailcap on light is set for intermittent illumination I suspect recoil from firearm would make it difficult to maintain enough pressure on the unit to keep light on so practice on recovery/recoil management will be essential.

Just didn't work as advertised
Maybe I was lacking the Chris Costa 'dillo dust but this contraption just did not work for me. Now keep in mind that all my lights have Surefire rings on them so I understand the concept and use it daily at work but for me the SwitchBack Rings just didn't function. They are quality made and if they work for you thats awesome however after trying and trying for a 7-10 days it was a no-go at this station and I returned to the SureFire rings.
