Dan's Review of Tier One ELR Bipod V2
Although I researched alot, this just doesnt fit the bill. Wish I never bought it.
1 - for its build I'm surprised it has some flex
2 - although it has alot of adjustment, still the problem of steps in between height so constant rear bag adjustment
3 - although the pics show it with spike feet and barricade stop, neither were included (although OP has been great in getting those sourced from Tier One)
4 - the plastic lever that would be used to lock the roll of the barrel one way or the other, when you tighten it down, you cam tell this is going to fail. Weak point.
Would be good for someone who wants a bipod for a gun they dont consider a precision rifle. Not the size of something for tactical so not sure where in the spectrum it will lie. Granted my rifle is at least 15 pounds as its a precision long range rifle(lighter than most), but thats what tier one brands this for. Besides the flex I mentioned, do not believe anyone would not experience the same issues, regardless of the rifle weight.
