Handsome watch for the price - Timex Expedition Traditional

The band is as nice as pictured and genuine leather. I previously owned a Casio diver's watch with plastic band, and it bothered me, so I wanted a comfortable band. I like the way it looks on my dark skin too, the lighter brown leather band and simple stainless/silver coloring suits my simple style.

I love the stainless styling, cream dial, simple day and date display along with larger numbers. The Indiglo light is very bright in blue, and makes the time very easy to read. Shock resistance is a plus. It is handsome watch to wear in most instances and battery life is rated at 8 years.

Compared to the diver's watch, which is my next consideration, is that this is only water resistant. It is not waterproof. The description seems to indicate that the dial is topped with "a large silver unidirectional bezel" also - the dial does not spin. Simple watch. If you have to save your girlfriend in a rushing river, you will probably lose the watch diving in. That's OK at this price though. Just wear something more if you are GI Joe.

I have worn it since it came in the mail today, I obviously love it. There are a million watches to choose from and I am happy with this one.
