Great triggers but be prepared to do some woodworking with your dremel tool - Timney Triggers Elite Hunter Remington 700 Trigger

I have installed Timney triggers in 6 or 7 rifles. They are a fantastic improvement over the factory triggers. I have put them in Ruger Model 77 (tang safety) rifles, my brand new Browning X-bolt in 7mm mag, a couple Remington 700's, and am attempting to get this one properly fitted to my 1960's Remington 700. They call these "drop in" replacements, but they NEVER are. The Timney safety always winds up rubbing on the stock someplace, and it's a pain trying to figure our where that tiny little spot is to take off with the Dremel. I always wind up taking off way too much wood by the time I'm done. Using inletting black or Prussian Blue or lipstick of magic marker never seems to show me where the rubbing is happening. Other than that, I set them at 2 pounds and they help my shooting a lot.
