Safety switch malfunctdion - Timney Triggers Remington 700 Two-Stage Light Trigger

I have used Timney Calvin elite triggers in the past and found them to be exceptional once small adjustments are made to my preference. My most recent trigger from Timney proved to be dysfunctional. Once installed, the safety switch did not function as it was stuck in the on position. I took it to a qualified gunsmith and he reinstalled the trigger and had the same result. I did not want to dissemble the trigger as it was new. I have several timney triggers and have never experienced this issue. I would rate timney triggers 4-5 stars normally but not this particular one. I would give them another try since these triggers are a good value historically. I prefer two stage triggers for hunting purposes because for me, they seem a bit safer in my hands. They brake clean and the over travel is minimal.
