Most Helpful Negative Review Seems like a decent trigger but had some quality issues.
Installed this trigger and couldn't get the bolt release to function properly. It would bind up in either direction and the spring force couldn't overcome it. Timney Trigger for My 700

I got a great price from OpticsPlanet and it was shipped quickly and for free. The install was very easy and I have the trigger set for a nice low weight. If I owned another 700 I would definitely but this trigger again. Now I just need winter to end.

This is my favorite trigger. I think this one is my third. I love having the two stages and it this time I went with the silver instead of black for something different. I’ve never even adjusted the other ones I was so happy. This time I decided to turn this one down a little. Made a huge difference on an already great trigger. You should definitely look into this trigger if you want a precision trigger. Only drawback is you can’t adjust it after you put stock on so do it when you’re installing and then let er rip.

Safety switch Malfunctdion

I have used Timney Calvin elite triggers in the past and found them to be exceptional once small adjustments are made to my preference. My most recent trigger from Timney proved to be dysfunctional. Once installed, the safety switch did not function as it was stuck in the on position. I took it to a qualified gunsmith and he reinstalled the trigger and had the same result. I did not want to dissemble the trigger as it was new. I have several timney triggers and have never experienced this issue. I would rate timney triggers 4-5 stars normally but not this particular one. I would give them another try since these triggers are a good value historically. I prefer two stage triggers for hunting purposes because for me, they seem a bit safer in my hands. They brake clean and the over travel is minimal.

Smooth and easy

Super easy install into my 6.5 creedmoor aero-precision action with ROCS chassis. Smooth pull with light tension, easy to tell between two stages of pull. Easy to adjust, also nice detailed instructions for adjusting

Easy to install (20 minutes). Drops right into your Remington 700 barrel-chamber assemble. Pre-set factory 3 lbs pull work perfectly. Will improve your shooting to sub MOA at 300 yards or less. One the best investments I've made in many a year!
