Better than expected. - Timney Triggers Remington 700 Calvin Elite Trigger

After reading dozens of reviews and comments I settled on the Timney CE in black. I expected the difference from the X-Mark Pro factory trigger to be substantial, but was not expecting it to be this good. The factory-set pull weight is so light you barely touch the trigger and it fires. But, a complete function check of the rifle, including many hard buttstock blows to the wooden floor, and NO misfires. Trigger works flawlessly. The finger radius is perfect for my fat finger and super comfortable. The break is clean, crisp, and incredibly positive. There is virtually zero creep or slop neither for nor aft. There is no forceful pull off this trigger as set. Finger in the box, gently into place, squee... that's as far as you get. Couldn't be better IMHO.
