This trigger is a versatile upgrade for the 700 Remington. The safety functions way better than the OE unit in that it can be on safe when loading and unloading the rifle making it a much safer weapon. The pull weight is adjustable from a very light target pull to a very crisp hunting pull easily. There is no creep. I also have a Timney 510 and although it is a great trigger I prefer this Calvin Elite to it because it can be adjusted to a lighter weight. I highly recommend this item!
