Absolute best trigger for the money!!! - Timney Triggers Remington 700 Calvin Elite Trigger

I recently built my Remington 700 chambered in 300WM to shoot steel at 1000 yards. After getting everything put together and shooting the gun at long range, I noticed the trigger was sub-par. The factory trigger was user adjustable and actually turned down to around 2 1/4 lbs which is “good enough” for a hunting rifle. But there was much room for improvement. In comes the Timney Calvin Elite. This trigger is the cats meow. It has it it all.. looks, style, function. First off, the looks. It’s plain purdy. Fits like a glove. My trigger came out of the package factory set at 8 ounces. I checked it with my trigger pull gauge and it broke dead on 8 ounces 10 out of 10 times. Easy install. Drop in replacement. 8 ounces pull. Adjustable from 8 ounces to 2.5 pounds. Zero travel. Clean, crisp break. Perfect reset. What more could you ask for?
