Ruger ships their Rifles with plastic trigger housings and 8.5 pound trigger pulls. I measured with a plate type scale. This is a much better option. Most Helpful Negative Review To little Timney
Very Disappointed! The trigger just doesn't have a nice crisp break. It was easy to install and fits well but For that kind of money, I expected much more. I have many other Timney triggers that I'm happy with but I don't recommend this one.

Save your money don’t be stupid like me!

I bought this trigger I am building a 10/22 for my grandson. Had some time today to put it together and it was quite easy really. The problem is it won’t fire and after a call to Timney support they said it was defective. To return it on my dime! Opened today installed today and I have to pay to fix their problem. Quote “We have had some issues from triggers from Optics Planet”. Well if the box was unopened and no damaged how can it be anyone’s fault except Timney? Buy a Kidd trigger and avoid the hassle!

replacement Timmey trigger

I received a bad trigger, it would not reset after firing. I contacted Optics Planet. They sent a return label and a replacement. The new trigger is awesome. I could not be happier. Thanks Optics Planet for your great customer service. hope to do business with you all for a long time.

Timney 10/22 Trigger

As expected, great trigger. Simple 1 screw and 2 pin drop in installation. Auto bolt release is a nice feature. The magazine release on the trigger guard requires some attention. It works way better than the stock release but can result in an unintentional magazine drop. My accuracy is significantly improved and I haven’t left a magazine out in the field yet…

Easy Improvement for Accuracy

Replaced the factory trigger with this easy DIY improvement. The extended magazine release is easy and intuitive to manipulate. The bolt lock is just as easy to engage with the thumb. The trigger breaks breaks like glass, consistently, at 2 3/4 pounds. Groups shrunk as a direct result of this drop in trigger.
