GVN's Review of Tippmann Arms Speed Loader
I watched several videos before receiving my unit. I saw how easy it was to load magazines so I bought one.
After receiving my unit I proceeded to load several magazines as per instructions. At first several round went easy then it got harder to crank the handle which I contributed to being new so I loaded a few more rounds. When it got extremely hard to turn the crank I stopped and installed a different magazine. Trying to load this magazine it went the same way so I stopped with this magazine also.
After unloading the magazine I found several badly damaged rounds with one having the projectile removed. I also noticed that several of the rounds were not staggered properly. Today I tried again with the same results. I tried going a lot slower than in your video and when it got harder to crank I shook the unit just to see if that would clear the problem but it didn’t.
The ammunition I used is Remington and the magazines are S&W 15/22 .22LR 25 round and a .22LR Chippa Firearms Co. magazine 25 round both almost new and load easily by hand. S&W magazines are stated that this unit would load.
Having following the instructions and videos I am inquiring if you think that I may be doing something incorrect in loading or if I have a defective loader?
I tried to contact Tippman about this problem as maybe I received a bad unit but have never received any return contact from them. Bad product support is another reason I would not recommend this unit.
So I have a ~$80 paper weight.
Again this is my experience with this unit.
