Fast transaction from ordering to received, vice is made of plastic but its reinforced and strong and very adjustable for many options from cleaning to mounting scopes and has other ad on attachable brackets, like magazine mounts to support your weapon while cleaning or fine tuning your rifel. Very happy with purchase. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.

First, the product was shipped horrendously. There was no outer box - they just slapped a UPS label on the store display box that boldly said "GUN VISE." It arrived with the box torn up, the box top was ripped off and it had clearly been opened and the product had been tampered with. Since it has so many parts for assembly, I'm not sure I received everything. An outer box or just plain paper wrapping by Optics Planet probably would have prevented this. I'd like to add a picture of the condition of the product I received, but the site doesn't give me that option.
Second, Tipton Website and other reviews stated it is "Made in America" but the one I got is labelled Made in China. If I knew that I would not have even considered this product. There is a lot of assembly which I have not yet begun, but the parts (if I even received them all) appear to be cheap plastic and soft lightweight metal. It is difficult to imagine this product providing enough strength and support for working on or cleaning a full sized rifle or SBR.
My Advice: Spend a few bucks more and get a solid American vise. And make sure it is securely shipped.

I read the review about the anchoring levers being weak. For my use there is no need to overtighten them that way. Vice holds the gun steady enough for cleaning and optics work.

Cheap plastic everywhere. Gun will move very easily, and really doesn't fit stock with pistol grip. Wants to roll around with rear stock grip. Have to constantly recheck alignment when mounting a scope because just handling the scope will cause it to roll in the vise and therefore be off level. Good for cleaning and mounting other things on weapon but for precision scope mounting get something else because this just doesn't cut it.

This thing is just what I needed. Excellent product. Light weight. Durable!!!

Does what it should, holds guns so you can work on them. If you dont have one you need one.

Fantastic! Secures rifles very well when performing maintenance tasks. I highly recommend this product

My only complaint is he rear clamp block assembly flexes when clamped to the stock. The plastic construction is not ridged enough resulting in the clamps to flex.
