This as a great rod. Good strong rod that does not flex and does not damage the chamber or bore. However the steel end of the handle will break off it hit hard...one broke off on me when rod fell over and hit concrete pad and one broke when I was tapping with a lead head hammer to push a tight fitting patch through the bore to remove leading. I have been shooting Sharps Rifles for 9 years.
