Sadly disappointed. - Toni System Red Dot Base Plate Optic Ready Type A for Beretta 92X Rdo Defensive-M9A4 Adaptor Plate

I purchased two of these base plates for optics on my Beretta 92XI’s. To my surprise they both mount onto the slide leaving a visible amount of gap between the two. I am extremely disappointed because I was very much looking forward to this working flawlessly after so much searching for the right plate. I’m going to wind up keeping them but I understand that it could affect my Romeo x pro’s losing zero or POA/POI varying a few degrees. I haven’t taken it to the range yet which is why I didn’t just leave it a one star and submit a refund request, but still I’m already a low in my expectations.
