Most Helpful Positive Review The product is very good. .308 once fired brass
The issue I have is that I ordered 1000 rds of brass and received only 1 500 container of brass which ended up only being 499 rds of brass. I was suspicious of the container showing a shipping weight of 14lbs when it should have been around 27lbs. Hopefully Optics Planet will send me the remainder o...

Most Helpful Negative Review Treat as raw range brass !!!
80% of these were not sized correctly (used Dillon headspace/case length gauge). Polish quality and chamfer were poor. I didn’t check primer pockets yet but I expect the crimp to still remain is, at least, some. if you buy these just know that you will still need to process them yourself or risk da...

OK but not great- NOT ready to go!

by alouicious, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 9, 2023
This brass is pretty clean, although primer pockets could be better. Necks have supposedly been chamfered and deburred but look pretty rough. My real complaint is lack of uniformity. For OAL I'm getting between 2.002" and 2.009", which makes it impossible to do uniform flash hole deburring or standard crimping. I'll have to trim them all or use the Lee factory crimper, which is an extra step either way. For CBTS I'm getting between 1.615" and 1.619". I use the Hornady comparator base with the Forster datum dial. The necks are way too tight, I can't even get a .303 Forster neck tension gauge to fit. I'm debating whether to fix it at once with a full length resizing die or just use a universal neck expander and seat according to the longest cases and have poor accuracy(i.e. just make plinking ammo the first time). Next time I'll just get range brass...

BUYER BEWARE

by TWO SHOT TOM, from WA, United States Written on June 12, 2023
I had the same problem these are not sized the full length and most were not chamfered, came up short on count... they work if you have time to run them as once fired, I ended up tumbling them all and full-length resizing them, then they work ok. QC Needs to be tightened up.
Pros:
  • Good for the price
Cons:
  • QC Needs to be tightened up.
Best Used for:
  • Plinking & fun
