Zach's Review of Tricer HK Tripod Kit
Tripod is excellent,l. Light weight with excellent stability, and has 3/8 threads for spiked feet if you want them.
Gun clamp is all metal which is also excellent.
The inverted ball head is functional but not perfect. The vertical movement is okay, but horizontal panning with the rifle is not, as the rifle clamp has lateral space to move in-between the clamp/head interference and will do so before the ball head overcomes the set tension. So this is an unlock, aim, lock, shoot and repeat type head, as the head isn't good enough to set heavy tension and have smooth aiming.
Now between the 3 components, the value is unbeatable for a lightweight, compact, arca compatible shooting tripod. Purchasing each of the 3 separately would cost over $700, and well over that if you want a perfectly smooth under tension ball head.
