Try it, you'll like it - Triggertech AR15 Single-Stage Diamond Flat Trigger

Bought this based upon personal recommendations of shooters that I met at a 3 gun match. They use the two stage version. I wanted the single stage to use in a purpose built lower for a prairie dog hunting rifle. This fills the bill perfectly. Virtually no take up or over travel and easily user adjustable pull weight. There may be other triggers out there that are better, but this is the best I have found so far within my budget. Others who have shot my gun have all commented on liking the feel of this trigger.
