lotis's Review of TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary Trigger
I recently had a gunsmith install a new Triggertech Primary trigger on my Remington 700 in an MDT TAC21 chassis and I couldn't wait to try it out. I was very pleased with the smooth crispness of the trigger. It is a very nice trigger with zero creep. The problem came when I tried to remove the bolt to clean the rifle. The bolt release button didn't allow the bolt to be extracted. After a couple hours of working on it I came to a couple of realizations. First, the grooves in the guide holes of the bolt stop release that direct the downward motion aren't deep enough to allow the button to fully depress the bolt stop. secondly, the bolt stop release had some flex in it that allowed it to slip off of the side of the bolt stop. Unfortunately I had to remove the trigger.
