Jim's Review of Triggertech Remington 700 Primary Independence Day Rifle Trigger
The trigger was easy to install, and the instructions were good. I like the way the trigger adjusts without removing the action from the stock.
My problem is that the outside of the box states "No Creep" in huge block letters, but there was just a bit of creep. It's manageable, but noticeable. This trigger was for a relatively lightweight sporter gun (Remington 700). If this had been for my target rifle, I would have been pretty disappointed. I put a Timney on it, and it truly has No Creep.
Bottom line:
- was it worth it, yes. Low cost and easy to install. It was definitely more consistent (and safe) than the factory Remington trigger
- Is it as good as or better than a timney? No.
