This setup will not work on the ar flat top receiver. It comes with a very low mount. For an AK, no problem. I am having to research a new mount for this optic as i didn't completely understand how low this mount actually is. Holsing it in hand, the glass and image are perfect and it feels very light. I like it a lot, just wish i boight the one with standard mount for tge AR platform.
