Shooting with my son the cop he had a trijicon red dot on his glock 17 and I carry a glock 19 well let me tell you after that day I ordered my red dot and love it you get what you pay for and great to shoot with both eyes open had to buy a slide and had sights to cover to holes in the new slide I was all in for $800
