I bought this for my S&W R8 357 revolver. Very expensive and used it six months in all,light conditions at the range, I tried to give it a fair shot but it is a complete disappointment. This model has no battery and will just not react fast enough to changing light conditions.
Works great in bright sun but fades too much in cloudy or enclosed room light conditions. I cant return it now and wish I had bought the battery model.
