I hunt the big woods of northern Maine for deers and bears and . Most of the shots are below 100 yards and very often around 50 yards. I need a scope with low magnification and bright reticule to acquire the targets very quickly. So far the scope meets all my expectations. The amber triangle is well visible in daylight and also late in the evening after sunset. The fiber optics concentrate the light on one point. It is not battery powered and you won't see the triangle if there is no light at all for example in a dark room. Of course you do not have to worry about battery. Great scope.
Pros: Very easy to see the light in dark area
