Not flat on action - Trijicon AccuPoint Remington 700 Long Action 7in. Full 1913 Rail Rifle Scope Base

I purchased this by recommendation of a customer service rep. After looking at the reviews I though/think it is of good quality. The Vortex rings fit very tight/ as in perfect in this rail. This is my first 1913 rail, and was surprised to notice this rail has a 2 to 3 degree bow in it. Once screwed to the action the rail straightens out, but I think the rail should be perfectly straight without screw tension. The back plate needed to be bedded to eliminate light between the action and the rail once the screws where tight. I was not expecting this out of a moderately priced rail. I kept the rail only because of how snug the rings fit.
