angry and broke's Review of Trijicon AccuPower RS-50 5-50x56mm Rifle Scope, 34 mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I bought two of these scopes. And jp mounts. All this totals $4,500 approximately. This is a lot of money. I have had issues with the eye relief. At 5x I can’t get scope close enough to me on my R5 Milspec. If I run the magnification up past 10-15x I can’t even see it. I had a leupold scope for like 7 years and it drilled and all was well with the world. I have called OpticsPlanet to send mounts back because the don’t work well I can’t get the back far enough. I was told that I used then and I can’t take them back. How the heck can I know they work if I don’t use and Mount them? No luck there

I called trijicon not once but twice. First time I was told to buy a larue mount that has an extension with a 5/8” riser. It help some but not enough for me to feel good for what I spent. The second time I called I was told to buy their mount that was adjustable. After further review, it didn’t have enough adjustments to get the eye relief for me. Now I am $300 more down and I am no more closer to being able to shoot and see comfortably as I did with a $1,100 scope.

I have fired almost 300 match grade hand loads that I know works well. 3 shoots can be covered with a dime at 100 yards. But I can’t see well enough at higher magnification which is why I bought these scopes. At today’s prices that is about $600-700 in Ammo gone.

This stinks I have almost $5 grand in this experiment and I am no closer to be happy as when I first started. Can I get some help here?thus is not right. If I don’t get help, I am going to get Amex involved as bad as I hate to say.
