Lanyard caps should come with acog from factory. - Trijicon ACOG Internal (External) Adjuster Caps and Landyard TA71 and TA71E

Trijicon should include these lanyard caps on every ACOG scope. There's nothing like losing a cap when adjusting, like when I did. You would think since the ACOG is so expensive you wouldn't lose caps, but i did. I have since purchased the lanyard caps from Planet Optics. They install very easily, just take off your old ones by turning them off and twist on the the new ones. These were for my TA11, the TA11 didn't have the relief cut by the housing screw so you can take both off and let them hang while making adjustments. Just take off one at a time and everything will work fine. I also have a TA31RCOA4 that has these lanyard caps from the factory, one of the best features.
Pros: Wont lose caps when adjusting your windage or elevation.
Cons: Acog does not have relief cuts for lanyard wire.
