Dave A.'s Review of Trijicon Electro Optics REAP-IR 35mm Thermal Weapon Sight w/8x E-Zoom
Mine is a 35mm REAP-IR (mfr 2016) which developed a strange issue where it would show a split screen on boot and not function (goes to a white fuzzy unresponsive screen)- but if you turn it on and off several times, eventually you get a "good" boot and it works. It will work fine until you turn it off - then same issue again, turn it on and off several times until you get another 'good' boot.
Trijicon will not warranty this- despite seeing several instances of issues similar to this online, and one case where they warrantied a unit at 4 years of ownership (mine is at 5 years).
This is a very expensive unit, expect to be hung to dry when your warranty runs out now. It will cost as much as the unit is worth to repair should you have any issues.
Sadly, image quality is not as good, but Pulsar and Armasight seem to back their customers with far more confidence.

Pros:
- Great picture, small footprint
Cons:
- you are on your own once warranty period is up, units seem to have random issues
Best Used for:
- rich guys who don't mind buying a new unit every 4-5 years
