My favorite red dot just got better! - Trijicon MRO 1x25mm 2 MOA Adjustable Green Dot Sight

Trijicon is at it again! I've been running the MRO (red) on my Scorpion for about a year and it has become my favorite red dot. Great clarity of glass and a large field of view combine to create very fast target acquisition. Not to mention the battle ready ruggedness. These things will take a beating. The new MRO Green dot is every bit as tough and functional with an improved reticle color(for my eyes at least). The green dot has less distortion due to my astigmatism and seems to provide a better contrast to varying types of backgrounds. On lower power it is a calm green color. On higher levels (4 & up), it takes on a slightly florescent yellow/green color which gives great performance in bright light scenarios. Even contrasts well against green foliage backgrounds. Unlike the red dot, the green does not seem to increase bloom on higher intensities. With the red dot I tend to notice more bloom or size distortion due to increased brightness. The green seems to stay at a finer point. At this price point it's by far the best dot optic on the market...at half the price of a T2.
