Not so good on usp expert - Trijicon Bright & Tough H&K 3 Dot USP Night Sights

I was under the impression these would work on my HK USP Expert .45. The sights it came with are adjustable but for target shooting, they're a little hard to use, especially for black or dark targets. So I decided to get these. I think I'm going to return them tho. There is a spring on top of the slide that looks like it's about to pop out because the rear sight only partially covers the hole. And the front sight is barely lit... even in a dark room. What's the point of having night sights if you can't see the front one?
Pros: The back two look nice
Cons: The front one is barely lit. There is an exposed spring on the top of the slide when I installed them on the Expert.
