Truly ruggedized - Trijicon ACOG Mount RMR Red Dot Sight - LED with 3.25 MOA Red Dot

I purchased this sight after a ton of research online. It was between this and the Leupold Delta Point Pro. I went with the RMR because it looked smaller and more light weight. My AR-15 has always been on the heavy side with the sight I was replacing. This sight was very easy to install, has a bright LED dot that I have yet to have a problem with, (I have not shot at night yet, so I can't say how it will work in low light conditions). The adjustments are not like any other sight I have worked with. Very easy to adjust and it took not time to get zeroed. This is definitely a "rugged" sight, firmly mounts up and worth the money.

The only issue I may have with it is that battery. The battery mounts under the sight itself and the sight must be removed from the mount to change it. Yet to see if that will affect zero and by how much. Trijicon RMR is a constant "ON" sight. There is no way to turn it off. Trijicon claims a "One year" battery life under normal conditions. Again, I've only had mine for a few weeks, so we shall see.

Trijicon reputation sold me on this one. Don't get me wrong, Leupold is amazing and I trust their glass and own two Leupold scopes, but I think the RMR is the way to go in terms of reflex sights. I may purchase another for a 1911 or Glock 41?
