Flimsy, can't see this staying on while carrying in a holster. - Trijicon RMR Scopecoat Cover

Mounted a Trijicon RMR 06 to a handgun and got this to protect the lens when not in use or while carrying in the field in a holster. This is totally inadequate. It just does not fit the sight snugly or securely. It even came off when I was cleaning the gun and I got a smear on the lens of the RMR. There is no way this fits snugly enough to cover the sight while carrying in the field to protect the sight from weather, brush, dust etc. I much prefer the snap on cover that came with my Burris Fastfire III over this. In my opinion, it is a weakness of the Trijicon sight system that there is not an adequate cover to protect the sight.
