This is the only 1 MOA red dot that I could find and wanted to be able to run a primary red dot that didn't completely obscure the target at any kind of distance. What I wasn't expecting was how usable it still was at close range and quick acquisition.
When you turn the brightness up, you really forget it is 1MOA. Seems more like the 3.25MOA RMR that I have.
But when you set the brightness right, it is perfect for ringing steel at a couple hundred yards. Especially with a magnifier.
Got the v1 at a good price since the v2 just dropped...no significant difference between them as far as I can tell.
My other v1 RMR is still going strong and this new one is cerakoted which is pretty slick looking.
