It's everything you would expect from a nice red dot. Dot itself is great/well defined. Auto brightness is also highly functional. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that the +/- buttons are difficult to press and press-hold. Secondarily, they also have no tactile click (which would not be necessary except for my first point: that you're squeezing hard and not sure if you've activated). This is a minor annoyance and I'll likely just get used to it, but just something to be aware of.
