The reflex sight is advertised as the "finest optical design design". I originaly bought this sight for my son to use when he deployed, but after using it on my DPMS I would not trust this sight for anything other than hunting non-dangerous game or target shooting. The dot seems to have a tail streaming out to the right so that only bare accuracy is an option. The rubber lens cover is a joke. It is held in place (sometimes)basically a thick rubber band! If you choose to use the polarized filter then you better be in some VERY bright sunlight because even if you turn the filter to it's brightest position it is very lacking in visibality. The REFLEX sight is overpriced and NOT worth the money. If I could do it all over again, I would look into an Aimpoint model or another EOTECH. I have found the best prices on all 3 of the above mentioned optics listed, right here on Optics Planet. Way to go!!
Pros: No batteries or on / off switch
Cons: dot blurry, generic lens cover, lens filter too dark even on lightest setting,
