My eyes turn the dot of an Aimpoint into a horizontal bar, which is the primary reason I went with this optic. The optic is an old design though and ends up being a little dark, though clear. If you're building an A2/IDF clone rifle then this option is great.
Pros: Rugged, easy to mount, reticule is crisp for bad eyes.
Cons: Reticle washes out without the filter, fov is dark with filter on.
