Worth it, just get it - Trijicon SRO 1x25x22.5mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

I’d like to say that this thing is buy once, cry once, but I now have 2. This is without a doubt the best competition-style pistol optic on the market. Extremely rugged, never looses zero. You can beat the heck out of it (I don’t recommend it just in case, but this thing can take it). The dot is crisp (in my left eye, my right eye has an astigmatism so it’s not crisp but that’s not the optics fault). I’d recommend the 5MOA dot for weekend warriors and serious competition shooters alike. It’s just the right size to where it doesn’t feel like every shake of my hand causes the dot to bounce around like crazy. It’s accurate enough to make both shots at small targets and quick follow up shots at standard targets. It’s also good for shooting at reasonable pistol distances. I’ve used it at 50 yards and getting accurate shots on target is no problem (if you have the skill). I had cheaper optics. They were ok until I installed one of these and now I hate them. I only wish two things. First, that it was offered in green and second that it had the circle dot option like the RMR HD. Still, for a single dot optic on your range toy or home defense pistol, you can’t go wrong with this. I love that you don’t need a special tool to zero and that the top loading battery compartment means that you don’t have to remove the optic to change the battery.
