Optic stopped working after 10 rounds - Trijicon SRO 1x0.98x0.89in Reflex Red Dot Sight

The title really says it all. I bought the SRO because I liked the large window. I was very pleased with the look of the optic on my glock 34 before taking it to the range. Once I got to go shooting, the SRO failed after 10rds. The dot will just disappear & won't turn back on until you remove the battery. The second time it failed after 2rds & the 3rd time it failed after just 1 shot. So I've had this red dot fail 3 times in less than 1 mag. I've sent a warranty request to trijicon, but I haven't heard anything from them yet. This is not what I expected from a $500 red dot, hopefully trijicon makes it right.
