Trijicon sro vs. holosun 507k: a practical comparison for everyday carry and range use - Trijicon SRO 1x25x22.5mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

e mounted the Trijicon SRO on one of my Glock 19X MOS pistols and the Holosun 507K ACSS on the other. Both optics perform great, with the SRO having a slightly larger window, which makes target acquisition quick and easy. I think the SRO is plenty durable for real-world use, like nightstand duty, concealed carry, or a range gun.

As for usability, I do give the edge to the Holosun when it comes to brightness adjustment—it’s more intuitive and easier to change. On the SRO, the ”+” and ”-” buttons are on opposite sides of the optic, making it a bit awkward. But honestly, once you get it set, it’s not something you’ll be fiddling with constantly or you can use auto mode.

At the end of the day, the Trijicon SRO is a top-tier optic, offering the quality you’d expect from Trijicon. Unless you’re preparing for daily firefights, I find it’s more than durable enough for anything you’re going to throw at it. So, let’s worry less about which optic is tougher and more about hitting the treadmill.
