The Ultimate Combat Optic
Before I begin, let me make this very clear: This scope is not meant for pinpoint precision. As the acronym (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) indicates, it is a combat optic. It is designed for hitting man-sized targets. Not that you can't be precise with it, but don't expect to drive tacks at 500 yards.
Now that I have gotten that out of the way, allow me to begin. If you have never held or looked through an ACOG in person, you will be amazed by two things: 1. The clarity of the glass - As someone who is not used to expensive glass, I couldn't believe how crystal clear the glass is when I f...

Worth Every Penny
Specific Use:
It was designed specifially to be used on a milspec M4, meaning 14.5" 1:7 twist barrel with an a2 flash hider and 55 gr fmj rounds. So do not expect pi point accuracy when using the hashmarks if youre running a 16" 1:8 with a big muzzle break. That being said, they will work most of the time.
Durability:
I can personally say i have witnissed these optics be thrown, dropped, kicked, and exposed to temps between -5°F to 127°F for prolonged amounts of time without losing accuracy. It is common practice to give the elevation turret a couple love taps with a gerber after adjustments just to get it to accurately adjust. Otherwise it will fully adjust over the course of your next 3 round group. That in itself tells you how tight and well built these optics truly are.
In closing, they are expensive but well worth it if you want something that is dang near bulletproof. Target aquisition times, durability, and the companies record make it worth it. The slick style of the optic is just a bonus.

The Very Best
I was a little hesitant but I tried it for a while and everything they say about it is true. The optic is made to hit a man size silhouette however you do have incredible accuracy after you get some experience. Everybody will use this in their own way and is simple enough to figure out how to best use it for your needs The clarity of the optic how far you can see in the auto adjusting Target to different ranges is terrific in fact the best way to use the BAC it’s to look at a target and raise the optic to your eye your brain will do the rest.
I love this optic I will use it forever and if you’re worried about the price it is worth every penny!

First ACOG
Wow is all I can say. Super clear shooting 1” grouping at 100 meters easy. Also the compliments aren’t bad. The only compliant might be it’s a little harder with people with glasses. Zeroing in was super easy quick accusation

Can't beat that price
Trijicon ACOG sights have been some of the top notch versatile optics for many years and this one is no exception. It fit right onto the rifle, adjusted easily for eye relief and the elevation and windage adjustments are intuitive. What really got me interested was the fact that it was more than $200 below the price on Trijicon's own site. That alone makes the purchase worth it. Especially for an optic this rugged

Know your CHEVRON!
Same optic we in the Army used on COLT M4 WITH 62 gr 5.56. At 20 yds to 75 yds (meters) NO LOSS IN ACCURACY. Shooting from moving GunTrucks at moving enemy..NEVER failed. Swore I would NEVER look through another ACOG. For some I might suggest a magnifier. Reticle is small for we whom now need glasses. (1-64th Armor E07 Ret.)
Pros:
- Tough, EXCELLENT glass, No batteries. Combat tested.
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Targets, combat, military use.

Pricey But Worth It.
If you are thinking about getting one of these, my short and honest answer would be DO IT! Your missing out!
Starting out would be the glass! Talk about crystal clear! The chevron is very easy to see nice and bright, the BAC reticle is by far the best I have seen, I shoot over 450yards with mine all the time. The dial adjustments are a firm click every time it’s turned I love how they added a wire to hold the adjustment caps so there isn’t a chance to lose them! The optic is build like a tank.. Has a very high quality look and feel to it plus it’s made in USA!!. I emptied my wallet and purchased a GDI quick release mount for it as well very easy to take off and it holds its zero no problem. The only down side most people have is it’s short eye relief being 1-1/2” inches... I personally don’t have any troubles with it + .223/.556 doesn’t have much recoil anyway so you will be just fine. To sum it up It’s absolutely the best optic I have ever bought myself I plan on getting them for all my toys in the future.
