I have talked to a number of Marines before my purchase. With the except of shallow debth of field, the sight is durable easy to use and very durable. I highly recommend the Knight Armament fold down sight as a back up sight, it tucks under the site

Just use the 300 meter mark at base of Chevron and it works like a charm.
