Solid fast-acquisition sight that does not require batteries - Trijicon TX30 Tripower Reflex Tube Sight Power Tri 30mm

I purchased this sight for my FS2000, to replace the factory 3x sight. It works perfectly with the EOTech Gen II 3x magnifier. And has excellent eye relief both with and without the magnifier. Requires a 1/2" riser to align with the EOTech, and they both just fit on the top rail of the FS2000. The sight is very easy to zero in and has maintained zero after a couple hundred rounds. The light gathering mechanism even works on the range in average light conditions. The tritium light source works very well in low and no light conditions. I have not needed to use the batteries to power the chevron. The only real problem I have found with this sight is when sitting in a dark location and looking out into full daylight. In this situation, the chevron is extremely pale. Turning on the battery does not help the situation. For how expensive the unit is, it should have come with a better full system cover and lense covers. The cover that comes with it is very difficult to put on and off. The accessory lense covers are great.
Pros: excellent optics, can use in day or night situations, does not require batteries
Cons: A little pricey, reticle hard to see going from dark to light, needs better lense covers
