Great non-battery dependent optic! - Trijicon TX30 Tripower Reflex Tube Sight Power Tri 30mm

I use a Trijicon TX30(GenI) on a Larue Tactical LT-129, mounted on a M4 carbine. The optic is co-witness'd by the Iron sights. With it set up like this, the TX30 is a perfect home defence optic. There is no need to remember to turn it on (thanks to the tritium) and the light gathering fiber-optics on top help to adjust for brighter lighting conditons. The recticle will drown out when looking onto a really bright area if you are aiming from a area with little light. This is going to be a give-in due to is design, just use the battery power to compensate for this, or just aim with the co-witness'd Irons sights if you have it set up like this. I would choose the TX30 over an Eotech or Aimpoint any day. Great optic!
Pros: Light weight, not battery dependent, chevron rectile, Trijicon!
Cons: On the high-end of the price spectrum for red dots.
