Skyraider's Review of Trinity Force Atlas Series M4/AR15 Keymod Free Float Handguard
I think it is important to note that I have many an AR build under my belt.
I purchased the 12in keymod 2 years ago. Everything was going great until I went to hand tighten the provided screws for the provided rails, they stripped. I was able to get them off with the help of some pliers from inside the guard and removed the section of rail. I figured I could buy some after market sets that would suit my needs. I then went to hand tighten screws that attach the rail to the barrel nut...stripped again.
I decided at that point that I could contact their customer service and see about replacing the screws...no reply. I called, they said they would contact me by email when they could make that happen...no reply. So rather than take my upper into a gunsmith to have the stripped screws removed in an effort to salvage situation, I finally caved and drilled them out. I now have a very expensive paperweight as there is no coming back from this. Crazy how a company could have made a life long customer by simply sending me some screws that I am sure would have cost them a whole $1.
