Chris Rookstool's Review of Trinity Force Mil-Spec Buffer Tube Kit
Installed this on an Anderson lower. The fit of Hogue Overmolded and UTG Pro stocks is as close as my other tubes, though I still put strips of pvc tape inside the stocks on both sides because I prefer a very snug fit. The receiver end plate fits very loosely on the tube such that if it gets canted during installation, the alignment tab on the end plate will come out of it's groove and allow the plate to pivot around the tube. Makes installation more fussy than it needs to be. Spring and castle nut seem fine, but there are no staking slots on the castle nut. My biggest gripe is that the buffer fits very loosely inside the buffer tube, After aprx. 300 rounds the paint on the nose of the buffer is coming off. The weights inside the buffer seem to move around more than my other buffers, more noisy, and while the inside of the buffer feels fairly smooth to the touch, this setup is noticeably noisier when cycling by hand than my other configurations.
But it does work. I will be replacing the buffer.
