Judge Joe Brown's Review of Trinity Nevada Ground Breaker Complete Slide
The difficulties described with the nose of the round hitting the top of the barrel hood & jamming most probably is due to interference caused by the red-dot/cover-plate mounting screws—particularly on the right side of the slide—& the extractor/spring assembly
The likely problem is that they’re too long
It is unclear whether an RMR footprint red dot was mounted (or just the cover plate) … but insomuch as the slide cut is low—& does not require an adaptor plate—there is a likelyhood that there is screw interference
Try backing the right hand screw off until it is just about out & you may find the feeding issues go away
You can ✓ this by attempting to chamber a round
If it clears up, secure a shorter screw … you probably will find one particularly short with new sights for use in Glocks
This is ALSO an issue with Sigs … use a Glock length screw on the right … or cut one down to a length that won’t bind the extractor set-up
