Will not stand behind lifetime warranty if tritium goes dark - Troy Tritium Folding Front Sight - M4

I bought a set of Troy's Battle Sights with the dioptic rear in Tritium; surely not inexpensive. They are strong/rugged and adjustable but as I just found out by calling Troy Industries, they will not replace or provide the tritium parts to you if the tritium goes dark as "it's not a manufacturing defect" and "everyone knows tritium fails after 10-12 years"; in my case it was 7. They will never see another dime of money. This should be clearly stated with every Troy listing and their website as it is a major fail. For example, XS products have a no questions asked lifetime policy on their tritium sights and will replace them, including shipping, if they fail. I have a set on a handgun and the tritium went dark after a number of years and they replaced them. They were a pleasure to deal with. The representative I spoke with at Troy informed me they had a "big" meeting last week on this subject and decided to double down on not replacing tritium sights that fail under their limited lifetime warranty or even offer such a customer a set at cost and to even suggest that I'd have to buy another set at retail. I think not.
