Good day and night sights - TruGlo Brite-Site Tritium Fiber Optic TFO Handgun Night Sights, Green Front & Rear

I put these sights on my 45 XDM, which I carry every day as a law enforcement officer in New Mexico. I have had these sights for 5 years and they work excellent. As required by the state we shoot both day and night qualifications and training. These sights work great at night. The green front makes front sight acquisition fast and the yellow rear helps with quick alignment even in low light conditions. Some individuals may complain the fiberoptics break easily. My experience as a firearms instructor with more than 8 thousand rounds on these sights is not one of disappointment. The tritium and fibers just broke for the first time last week. 5 years of hard use every day... I'm getting another set. Truglo has great customer service. Keep in mind colder climates may affect the fiber optics, as well as hotter climates, so that may be something to consider. We see averages of teens to twenties in the winter and up to 110 in the summer. The point of impact point of aim was dead on for elevation. They fit snug and never moved since I installed them. From my experience they are well worth the money spent. Happy shooting and always be safe.
