Truglo triton 3 dot scope - TruGlo Triton 1x30mm Tri-Color Tactical Red Dot Sight

Revised review.

I purchased a rifle October 2020 that came with a TruGlo Triton Tricolor 3 brightness 3 dot scope mounted on it.

The first issue was that the scope cap hinge pins kept backing out after only a few shots. I eventually made one out of a thick paper clip and bent the ends up to keep it in.

On 27 Nov. 2020 I suddenly missed 10 shots at a pie plate offhand at 50 yards. I switched to 25 yards and sandbagged the rifle. The red and green dots had shifted about 4 inches left, blue was OK.

It was not dropped or otherwise mishandled. No loose screws. Total shots 120.

Truglo authorized return and I returned it early January 2021.TruGlo said they are out of stock and claimed not to know when the next batch was coming in.

June 2021 I received a similar Truglo Triton from GSM that mounts very low to the Picatinny rail so I cannot use the back up iron sights like I could with the original scope. I contacted GSM Outdoors who said they purchased Truglo. They refused to swap for the more expensive sight with the cantilever mount that I had returned unless I had the original receipt (which did not come with the rifle.)
I have filed a BBB complaint on GSM.

It does not appear that mainland Chinese junk is up to the task, nor GSM.
