Sturdy, smooth functioning ambi charging handle to rival the competition - TRYBE Defense AR Ambidextrous Enhanced Mil-Spec Charging Handle

I bought two of these for two custom AR15 builds I am doing. I have Raptor's on both of my other AR's, but they are really expensive (but worth it). I needed something of similar quality but something that would not break the bank.

I bought these thinking "what do I have to lose?". If they aren't good, I will just return then and fork over the extra $40-$50 per charging handle for the raptor.

I am so glad I bought these. I do prefer the look of the raptor slightly, but these function incredible well and you will NOT find a better charging handle for the price.

Both sides operate perfectly. A problem with some ambi charging handles is that the right side will sometimes stick or feel rough and sloppy during reciprocation. This one feels identical on both sides, sturdy, and doesn't rattle like some cheaper handles do. Nothing grinds my gears more than a RATTLE on my AR.

These are also excellent charging handles for longer range builds where the scope lens sits near or over-top of the charging handle. The engagement surfaces flair out just enough to get a good purchase without the scope getting in the way, but they aren't flared out so much that the jab you when slung across your chest or back.

I've got about 2500 rounds on each of these builds and they've held up great. I run my stuff hard.

And despite the price tag, they are made in the USA. I think Trybe is a relatively new brand that is being distributed by Optics Planet. A great partnership if you ask me. I also ordered the Trybe ambi safety lever and it is top quality.

Great to see such value in an American made product. If you are looking for a great ambi charging handle but can't justify Raptor prices, this is an absolute no brainer.
