not N95 but definitely feels like it does a better filtering job than the basic cotton masks, and I washed one and it held up just fine ... I use these more for the gym and other physical activities since easier to breathe and save the N95+ masks in case I was in a dense crowd or there is a more severe flare up in the virus ... these are also very comfortable, especially due to the adjustable loops ... already purchased more
